Join our diverse team of 2,000 who serve our community with compassion and dedication across almost 300 locations in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.Our CARES values of Collaboration, Accountability, Responsiveness, Excellence and Safety allow you to do your best work.To find out more please visit: www.invocare.com.auAbout the role:We have an exciting opportunity for two (2) newly created HSE Advisor roles to join the Health, Safety and Sustainability team at InvoCare - one each in Brisbane and Sydney.Reporting to the National Safety and Environment Manager, this Brisbane based role will be at the forefront of providing support to line management to proactively execute business strategy in relation to health, safety and environment practices and positively influence culture throughout the organisation.Key responsibilities include:Implementation of HSE Strategy, Plan and Initiatives in line with assigned timeframes across over 60 QLD locationsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including line managers, team members, HSRs, Committees, and other HSS team membersAct as internal advisor; promoting and coaching with respect to HSE program implementation, and risk management.Provide support to Operational Management and teams on a day-to-day basisUtilise strong facilitation, coaching and influencing skills to achieve desired HSE outcomesImplement the audit and assurance programs according to schedule, including close out of associated non-conformances and observations.What you'll bring:Essential qualifications, skills and experience:Tertiary qualifications in an HSE disciplineMinimum of 3 years' consecutive experience within a large, diverse and multi-site organisationBroad understanding and working knowledge of WHS, Environment and Workers' Compensation legislation in relevant jurisdictionsLead ICAM investigator qualification or similarDemonstrated results in improving safety culture and HSE performanceExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and conciselyAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamProven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing health, safety, and environmental challengesDesirable qualifications, skills and experience:Certificate IV in Training and AssessmentRelevant State Return to Work Coordinator trainedExperience in the development of risk assessments and facilitating associated workplace consultationStrong ability to consult and deliver resultsAble to influence at a local and regional levelExperience in conducting internal auditsHow to Apply:At InvoCare, we value our employees and are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace.
