The Opportunity: As a rapidly growing start-up with an impressive set of financials, we are now investing in a HR Manager's role to further grow and strengthen the business. Reporting to the CEO, you will join a dynamic leadership team to realise the exceptional potential of this business and industry. This is truly an extraordinary opportunity to build the HR function whilst playing a key role in a potential corporate transaction in the short to medium term.
Your Role: 1. Build the HR function – bring your full HR operational capabilities and disciplined approach to establish the HR function in a rapidly growing business. Lead a small but highly dedicated and capable HR team. Influence the leadership team on what value-adding HR looks like.
2. HR Strategy, Planning and Execution – partner with the leadership team to build and execute a pragmatic HR strategy and plan. Ensure Key Performance Indicators and other HR metrics are established to underpin performance.
3. Policy and Process Development – develop fit-for-purpose policies and processes to improve business performance and mitigate risk. Be practical in your approach to balancing risk and governance for a startup.
4. Culture and Business Partnering – work with the leadership team and other line managers to drive a solution-orientated culture. Support line management to resolve issues locally and expediently.
5. Talent – working with the Head of Recruitment, acquire and develop talent in line with business needs.
6. Tech and Digital Savvy – utilising systems and processes to improve employee experience, quality and cost. Identify and plan for future technology needs.
7. Transaction Readiness – support the business with due diligence requirements as part of any corporate transaction.
