About the role:We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Generalist with experience in disability, hospital, or aged care sectors. In this role, you'll work closely with the HR Manager and Operational Leadership Team, supporting a wide range of people and culture matters. You'll lead projects, mentor others, and provide guidance on performance, development and industrial relations. Additionally, you'll manage workers' compensation and help implement the HR strategy across the business. Join our experienced and supportive HR team at a respected not-for-profit organization.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting investigations into employee misconduct or policy violationsHandling employee inquiries, concerns and complaintsAdministering the performance appraisal process and assisting managers in setting performance goals and providing feedback to employeesEnsuring compliance with labor laws and regulationsMaintaining accurate employee recordsGenerating reports and analysing HR metrics for management

About you:We seek a self-motivated and friendly individual with:Essential Criteria:Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years' experience in a HR generalist role, preferably within disability, hospital, or aged care sectorsStrong knowledge of employment laws, regulations and HR best practicesExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrityDetail-oriented and highly organised with exceptional time management skillsDemonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
