The VCAA is seeking a HR/Payroll Officer to join thier team on a fixed term contract. The purpose of this role is to provide a range of HR/payroll services, including:
Preparing, processing, reconciling and reporting payroll to ensure accurate and timely fortnightly/monthly salary payments to VCAA sessional/casual employees and to meet other reporting requirementsProvide technical advice and/or supportProvide advice on the appropriate interpretation of HR policy and or HR processes relating to Payroll, recruitment and staffing in the VCAA settingProvide administrative advice and support on a range of recruitment initiativesWork with relational databases, including creating customised stand-alone excel and access databases, extraction and manipulation of dataAssist in the provision of a financial reporting, reconciliations, procurement and invoicingFinancial related work as directed by the HR Manager.The role will answer to the Assistant Manager and Manager of the Unit. This position can be located in Melbourne CBD area and/or Coburg office. There may be some training days that will need to be attended at either venue.
