Your Organisation

As one of the oldest secondary educational girls' school institutions in Melbourne, this prestigious organisation is seeking a part-time Human Resources Advisor to join their team for a FTC until the 20th of December 2024.

Working as part of a team of two and closely with the Human Resources Director, your role will play a crucial role in providing expert advice and support on a wide range of HR matters for various stakeholders across the business.

This role will run until the end of the school term on the 20th of December 2024, with the potential for an ongoing permanent role for the right candidate!

Your Role

Reporting into the Human Resources Director, your role will involve:

End to end recruitment (writing job ads, posting ads, shortlisting and phone screening candidates, booking interviews, conducting interviews (as required), reference checking, declining unsuccessful candidates)
Drafting change of employment and compliance letters (i.e. casual conversion)
Preparing statements of service, as required
Collaborate and assist with HR projects, including the HRIS implementation and roll out (Martian Logic)
Cleaning up shared electronic filing system
Review policies
Responding to queries from staff, including requests for salary reviews

Your Profile

You will have excellent communication and presentation skills and pride yourself on your proactive attitude. You will pick up new software systems quickly and have a keen eye for detail.

You will have experience working within an HR Advisor capacity and be available to commence immediately.

To be considered for this role, you must have a valid Working With Children's Check and be available to work 3 - 4 days per week from 8.30 - 4.30pm.

Please note, this role is based 100% on site with no WFH.
