With monthly travel to Northern Australia, this role offers the opportunity to build strong, on-the-ground relationships while delivering HR expertise across the entire employee lifecycle.Supported by our Centres of Excellence, you'll play a key role in shaping a high-performing culture that aligns with our AACo Values and fosters growth for our people.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver strategic People Plans that align with business and AACo needs.Provide comprehensive HR support across all stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and offboarding.Advise employees and leaders on HR policies, employee relations, performance, conduct, and grievance management.Lead Employee Relations activities including Enterprise Agreement interpretation, investigations, and disciplinary actions, ensuring compliance with policies and employment laws.Serve as a key administrator of HRIS, managing onboarding, offboarding, and reporting functions.Handle employee data efficiently, including contract preparation and processing, in partnership with the payroll team.Collaborate with the broader People & Culture team to execute cyclical HR activities including performance cycle, engagement programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain compliance with the Fair Work Act and relevant industrial instruments, supporting systems and processes that uphold these standards.Desired Skills and ExperienceQualifications and SkillsBachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.3+ years of generalist HR experience, supporting operations teams.Experience working with and interpreting enterprise agreements and employment relations issues.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build relationships and engage effectively with remote and on-site teams.High attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.Proficiency in HR systems (HRIS), Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and Canva.Ability to work inclusively and collaboratively, embodying our core values of curiosity, generosity, and accountability.Thrive on continuous learning and growth opportunities!Apply Now to join the AACo Team!We hope this overview has provided you with valuable insight into AACo.
