The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist to partner with our clinical team at Slade Pharmacy, located at the Wesley Private Hospital in Brisbane. Here you will develop and expand upon a broad range of hospital pharmacy skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment. You will have the opportunity to work with an expert team of allied health professionals and doctors to leave a positive impact on patient care.
This is a 12-month contract role, with the choice of either full-time or part-time employment. Please indicate your preference and availability when submitting your application.
Responsibilities Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy productsCoordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and dischargeDevelop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patientsSupport patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employeesEducate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicines About You Whether you're an aspiring Pharmacist ready to launch your career in hospital pharmacy or an experienced community Pharmacist seeking a transition into the hospital space, we encourage you to apply!

Eligibility Requirements: Minimum 1 year of dispensing experience in an Australian based community or hospital pharmacyCurrent AHPRA registration About Slade Wesley Slade Pharmacy Wesley is conveniently located on level 2 of the Wesley Hospital (on the left-hand side of the main entrance, behind admissions). The pharmacy provides a wide range of products and services to inpatients, outpatients and staff at the Wesley Hospital.
