About the role Our goal to build 'healthier rural people and thriving communities' is the shared responsibility of all involved in the care of our patients, and the Hospital Assistant is an integral and valued member of our team. You will help nursing staff in hospitals and other health care establishments with non-medical duties including housekeeping, portering patients, and general assistance.
The Hospital Assistant supports the delivery of an efficient and effective cleaning service to the patients and facilities within the Bathurst Health Service.
You will need to be reliable, punctual, energetic, physically fit, have a caring and supportive attitude, and use your good communication skills to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
