Part-Time Ward Clerk opportunity - 5 days a week (5 hours a day) Friendly, Supportive Team North Turramurra location Our Patient Services Team is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work alongside our team of Administration staff in supporting the ward Nurse Unit Managers.
As an Ward Clerk you will be responsible for providing full administrative support to the ward.
Facilitating the transfer of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
Provide excellence in customer service delivering to both internal and external stakeholders.
Performing a broad range of administration duties including: Maintain patients medical records Provide administrative support as directed by the Nurse Unity Manager Admit and discharge patients using WebPAS Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry Prepare documentation and relevant paperwork for patients on their discharge Provide best customer service to patients, family, carers, doctors and other staff Ensuring efficient functioning of the ward Administration Ensure privacy and confidentiality policies are adhered to Support the hospital's commitment to quality improvement and achievement of accreditation Implement measures to maintain the safety of all staff, patients, visitors and self.
Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records About us Lady Davidson Private Hospital in North Turramurra, is one of the largest private dedicated rehabilitation hospitals in Australia affiliated as a teaching hospital with Sydney and Macquarie Universities.
With 115 inpatient rehabilitation beds, the hospital has been designed to promote rehabilitation through our inpatient programs.
