Hose Technician Trainee

Australian Aerospace Engineering is a locally owned, multifaceted aviation engineering business with an outstanding reputation for quality and customer service. AAE supplies aviation parts, hardware, and aircraft hoses to an impressive and established customer base nationwide.

Launched at the start of 2024, AAE's Eaton Aeroquip Aviation Hose Shop is a new and growing facet of our business. We are now looking to expand the team with the addition of this newly created role.

This is a rare opportunity ideal for a recent school leaver or someone keen to kickstart a career in aviation or engineering.

In this unique role, your responsibilities would include:

Manufacturing of hose assembliesMaintenance of hose assembliesRecording of quality testingAdhering to strict quality management systems To succeed in this hands-on role, you will require:
A strong work ethicHigh attention to detailMechanical knowledge & skillsAbility to work within set proceduresExcellent computer and numeracy skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to work as part of a teamSound organisational skillsProblem-solving skillsSuccessful completion of Year 10 This is a full-time position working in a positive and supportive environment amongst all the action of the Albury airport precinct. You would receive a formal qualification whilst receiving specialised and comprehensive on-the-job training. Upon successful completion, you will obtain a Certificate II in Engineering.
