The Role As a member of the Supplier Partnership & Performance Corporate Procurement Team (SPPCP), you will be accountable for the performance of the Corporate Procurement Contracting within a Category Management function. This role is key to managing the risks associated with Hollard's Corporate Procurement Categories which will include compliance with the Code of Practice, Claims Handling as a Financial Service, relevant APRA (Australian Prudential Regulation Authority) Prudential Standards and ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission) Requirements.
Key responsibilities (not limited to): Contribute to the continuous review of Corporate Procurement Supply Chain changes and new trends. Conduct procurement, sourcing, contract and category management activities for major contracts and standing offer arrangements. Negotiate Corporate Procurement Contracts within relevant Categories to deliver best cost outcomes. Deliver industry-leading cost, quality, and timeliness outcomes across the Corporate Procurement categories. Ensure that Procurement agreements have clear performance metrics through clear KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Engage with external providers on new opportunities, actively seeking new trends/innovation to drive improved business performance. Monitor Third Party Risk Management Framework across the Hollard various categories. Monitor, report and support the Group in ensuring adherence to the Regulatory Compliance Framework across the Corporate Procurement categories. Your knowledge & experience Substantial experience across a Claims Category Procurement, or Supply Chain related role, coupled with tertiary level qualifications. Deep understanding of APRA regulations that impact the Procurement role within Insurance. Deep understanding of the contracting process. Deep understanding and management of partner relationships.
