About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Health Information Service Department. The HIS Administrative Officer is responsible for facilitating an efficient and effective looseleaf filing system to ensure a backlog in the area does not occur. This position will be required to provide patient records to the Day Procedure Centre – DPC for planned and unplanned admissions.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia.
2. Previous clerical experience within a Health Care environment.
3. Experience using CorePas or a similar patient administration system.
4. Demonstrated sound interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
6. Attention to detail.
7. Ability to prioritise work and adhere to deadlines.
8. Flexible and accurate in all aspects of work.
