The Port Hedland Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PHCCI) is the voice for business and industry in the Hedland region. The PHCCI run and manage a number of business incubators, including The WEB Business Hub, The South Hedland Hub, The Bungalow on Edgar and the Tradie Hub, each of which promotes the growth and diversification of the Pilbara small business community in a variety of sectors including professional services, trades-based businesses and retailers.
Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Collective Impact Project Coordinator. This position will play a crucial role in facilitating collaboration among diverse stakeholders to achieve shared goals and outcomes through a collective impact approach. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills, along with a passion for driving positive change within communities.
Responsibilities: Facilitate Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between participating organisations, agencies, and community members to foster effective communication, build relationships, and facilitate collaboration towards common goals.Develop and Implement Strategies: Work with stakeholders to develop a comprehensive strategy and action plan for the collective impact project, ensuring alignment with the shared vision and objectives.Coordinate Meetings and Workshops: Organise regular meetings, workshops, and other collaborative events to engage stakeholders, share progress, gather feedback, and address challenges.Data Collection and Analysis: Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of relevant data and information to track progress, measure outcomes, and inform decision-making.Resource Mobilisation: Identify and secure resources, including funding, expertise, and in-kind support, to sustain and advance the collective impact project.Communication and Outreach: Develop and implement communication strategies to raise awareness about the collective impact project, engage stakeholders and the broader community, and celebrate successes.Capacity Building: Provide support and resources to participating organizations and stakeholders to strengthen their capacity for collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and collective action.Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the collective impact approach, identify lessons learned, and recommend adjustments to improve outcomes and sustainability.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as community development, social work, public administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.Proven experience in project coordination, community organising, or coalition building, preferably within a collective impact framework.Strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to bring diverse stakeholders together towards a common vision.Excellent communication skills, including writing, public speaking, and interpersonal communication.Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management software.Demonstrated commitment to social justice, equity, and inclusion, with an understanding of systemic issues impacting communities.Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and willingness to travel locally as needed.This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive positive change and make a meaningful impact within communities through collaborative action.
