Job Title: Kenworth, DAF & Isuzu Truck Technician Full-Time

Location: 16 Kendall Avenue, Queanbeyan
We're currently seeking skilled technicians to join our team and help us deliver industry leading service to our valued customers. As a technician with us, you'll have the opportunity to work on Kenworth, DAF & Isuzu trucks, honing your skills and expanding your knowledge every day.
Working hours: 8am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday and 8am – 12pm Saturday.

The Role: Performing routine tasks such as servicing and preventative maintenance to ensure the proper functioning and longevity of our customers' vehicles. Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing diesel engines, systems, and components, including engines, transmissions, fuel systems, exhaust systems, electrical systems, and more. Conducting major engine overhauls and rebuilds when necessary, which may involve disassembling, inspecting, cleaning, repairing, and reassembling to factory specifications. Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, including wiring, sensors, starters, alternators, batteries, and electronic control modules. Ability to work on short notice outside of regular work hours, such as after-hour breakdowns; you will be required to go in the call-out rotation. To be successful in this role you will need the following: Qualifications: Cert 3 in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology and a driver's license is required. Experience: Experience as a mechanic is essential, including hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles and equipment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, repairing engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other components is crucial. Problem-Solving Abilities: Technicians must possess problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions efficiently. Team Player: Technicians should be able to collaborate effectively with other team members, including service advisors and other technicians, to deliver outstanding customer service. Customer Focus: A customer-centric mindset is important, as mechanics play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and building trust with clients.
