SPARKS AND SPANNERS SOUTHWEST PTY LTD – Busselton WASparks & Spanners South West is a small family-operated business providing mobile mechanical and auto electrical repairs and maintenance in Busselton and the surrounding area, extending as far as Bunbury to the north and Margaret River to the south.We are seeking a well-rounded heavy vehicle technician to join our team who can think outside the box and problem solve.This exciting position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm, with some weekend work available. Hours can be flexible to the right candidate to suit family life commitments.The position will be workshop-based for 3 months before entering field service, after which a vehicle will be supplied for that role.Responsibilities:General repairs and maintenance to client's fleetsOrdering of partsCompleting job sheetsAs part of the position, you will be given a work Ute, which will be kitted out for work use. An attractive hourly rate is offered for the right person.If you can work autonomously and take pride in your work, please apply!Minimum Requirements:Experience with Japanese and European vehicles preferred.Must have own tools.Diagnostic experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.Willing to work on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.Computer and diagnostic tool experience.Time management skills are essential.Parts interpretation and ordering experience beneficial.Auto electrical experience is beneficial.Refrigerant handling license is preferred but not essential.Must pass a full pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.Light vehicle technicians are encouraged to apply.
