Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Ison Haulage are a proud family owned and operated business in the Western Downs Region, based in Chinchilla. We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team.Overview:In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy equipment used in the haulage & quarry operations. This role will be Monday - Friday with weekends as required based in Chinchilla with a service truck provided during working hours.Role Responsibilities:Maintain and repair heavy haulage trucks, loaders, excavators, and quarry equipmentPerform routine maintenance and inspectionsEnsure compliance with all safety standards and company policiesTroubleshoot hydraulic & mechanical issues across a range of equipmentWork efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime and maximise reliabilityMaintain accurate records of services and repairs carried outRequirements:Mechanical Trade CertificateValid LR LicenceProven experience as a mechanic, ideally with heavy vehicles and quarry equipmentStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsBe able to work within a team and unsupervisedMust have full working rights in AustraliaIf you are passionate, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in quality maintenance, please APPLY NOW!Ison Haulage is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to building a safe and inclusive workplace.
