Job Title: General Practitioner - Port DouglasPractice Information:The practice was established over 20 years ago and is a locally reputable and very busy practice situated in the lovely Far North QLD town of Port Douglas located 5 minutes from the centre. Our QPA accredited practice is purpose-built with beautiful timber decks and tropical manicured gardens designed to give our patients and those that work here the feeling of relaxation and ease. Our practice is unique and staffed with long-term doctors that specialise in many areas of expertise and use both conventional and complimentary medicines that we feel benefit our patients hugely in this lovely tropical community. We have GPs practicing in Japanese Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynae, Hypnotherapy, Nutrition, Gut Health & Allergies, Medicinal Cannabis, Skin Cancers & Minor Procedures. We are also very lucky to have a Nurse Practitioner/Midwife who supports the surgery extensively and a Medical Assistant that helps doctors and the nurse out with procedures, dressings, phlebotomy, observations, ECGs, spirometry, etc. Our other staff consists of a Practice Manager who has supported us for 11 years and 2 long-term receptionists that keep our day flowing nicely.Position Description: We are looking for a fully qualified GP who is accepting of our holistic approach and can bring good quality care to benefit our patients. We require a GP who would be happy to work at our practice 4-5 days per week from 9am to 5pm (we are negotiable with days & hours). We are only open Monday to Friday and no weekends or after hours are required.
