Our client has a diverse and large portfolio of projects within a growing industry are looking to hire a HSE Advisor to provide technical HSE advice and support.
In this role you provide technical and functional HSE planning, support and advice consistent with legislation, strategic objectives, policies and best practice standards to ensure successful project delivery.
This position focusses on supporting key projects where the organisation acts as a client, owner, contractor, subcontractor, or joint venture partner. Additionally, you will support the HSE teams and facilitate the transfer of HSE knowledge as projects transition from construction to operations.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the HSE Projects team to support corporate programs and ensure quality HSE services;Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to enhance HSE learning and improvement;Conduct project HSE audits, investigations, and provide mentorship.Support Project Managers in delivering HSE reporting;Develop and support the implementation of HSE risk management processes;Ensure effective HSE processes for the escalation and flow of information, investigations, learnings, actions, and audits across the project;Communicate effectively with stakeholders and customers, both internally and externally;Prepare and deliver professional reports and presentations to diverse audiences; andCreate HSE management plans, training materials, and information for Growth & Future Energy projects.About You:
To be considered for this role, you will have a strong background working withing HSE advisory role within a project's environment. You have a strong track record in conducting audits aligned with regulatory and ISO standards, as well as leading investigations or guiding supervisors through the process. Your well-developed analytical, verbal, and written communication skills enable you to build strategic relationships and effectively influence key stakeholders, with a strong focus on contractor management. You are adept at identifying and managing risks throughout the entire lifecycle of large renewable projects, from initial start-up and construction through to ongoing operations and maintenance.
Additionally, you have demonstrated expertise in driving change, implementing system improvements, and consistently delivering high-quality outcomes within set timeframes.
