The Role The Health and Lifestyle Coach will be responsible for promoting and leading health & lifestyle activities for residents in our remote villages.
This is a FIFO role – 2 weeks on 1 week off roster – Accommodation and Meals provided on-site.
Location: Central Queensland – Transport departing from Brisbane
Responsibilities:
Management of the on-site gym and associated fitness areas
Management and maintenance of gym equipment
Ensure all COVID requirements for shared gym spaces are being followed
Cleaning of the gym and associated areas
Deliver daily coffee and smoothie service to Village residents
Delivery and coordination of event night catering i.e. Saturday Pizza nights
Development of health programs to meet resident requirements
Health initiative promotion and engagement with residents
Strive to increase gym participation numbers
Develop and deliver individual fitness programs for residents
Delivery of engaging fitness classes to improve participation and enthusiasm
Reporting and data recording
Skills/Experience:
Current driver's license
Cert IV or higher in Fitness
Senior First Aid Certificate and CPR
Previous experience in coordinating leisure and lifestyle programs
Previous experience in designing and implementing individual fitness program content
Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible/innovative approach
Able to work with the management team as a problem solver with a proactive positive attitude
Be self-motivated and able to work autonomously
Excellent computer proficiency
