Position Overview We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Health and Safety Coordinator, a pivotal senior role, you will contribute to enhancing the health and safety culture and outcomes in alignment with business strategy.
Key Responsibilities Deliver and monitor port security services, maintaining accurate records and advising the Manager on system improvements. Oversee emergency response processes, ensuring proper documentation, resources, training, and equipment are in place. Monitor incident management processes, ensuring adequate documentation and capability. Ensure compliance in the handling of hazardous chemicals and materials. Advise business stakeholders on the application of all Health and Safety processes. Qualifications and Experience Tertiary qualifications or a Diploma in Workplace Occupational Health and Safety. Experience in a similar role, preferably within a heavy industrial setting. Strong knowledge of Queensland Workplace Health and Safety Legislation and Codes of Practice.
