About the role
If Health and Safety is important to you, this is a great learning opportunity to support our Work Health & Safety (WHS) strategy and our team located in Homebush West.
In this role, you will work with the business, towards a health and safety vision of continually striving to learn, improve and positively influence the physical and psychological health and safety of our people and communities that we serve around the world.
You will also: Play a key role in the implementation and administration of a new Health and Safety Software platform Administer the incident and hazard management function Support operational activities including H&S committee meeting preparation, compilation of papers and presentations and ad-hoc administrative duties Collate and compile both scheduled and ad-hoc Health and Safety reporting Update and maintain the H&S policies, procedures, resources and tools as required Support communication of the H&S Management System across the organisation including maintaining the Health and Safety intranet page Engage with the global Health & Safety team Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours About you
This role is suitable for someone earlier in their Health and Safety career or has an interest in the field and willing to undertake studies and prepared to jump in and support a wide range of administration and team tasks.
You will have: An interest in Health & Safety Knowledge or willingness to take on study to learn the principles of health and safety risk management The ability to communicate effectively in all forms across all stakeholder groups. The ability to prioritise Studying towards, or a qualification in, Health and Safety or related disciplines such as a health or behavioural science, or the equivalent level of knowledge gained from a combination of experience, training, professional accreditation, and qualifications is desirable What's in it for you
