Full-time vacancy up to 12 months. We have an exciting new Senior Career Support Case Manager roleavailable in our HR Branch. The Career Support Case Manager rolesare accountable to the Senior Sergeant, Employee ManagementRegister (EMR) for the pivotal service of identifying andnegotiating suitable alternative placements and redeployment forwork injured police officers and police officer employees subjectto redeployment.
The Senior Career Support Case Manager providescomprehensive return-to-work services, placement services andapplies early intervention methods. The role will also establishreporting requirements, analyse statistical data, preparingdocumentation, and managing HR special projects.

About you Demonstrates knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act2012; Return to Work Act 2014, standards, and regulations. Demonstrated experience with providing case managementservices to work injured and excess Police Officers thatincludes facilitating the job matching and transition process,providing career advice, and the identification andcoordination of retraining opportunities. Experience with developing and maintaining productiveworking relationships with all levels of Government andrelevant internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in recording, analysing,interpreting, and presenting data in a logical and meaningfulmanner. Ability to clarify situations, act impartially, and useinfluence, negotiation, and persuasion to effectively mediatethe conflict and devise a workable solution. Ability to utilise case management principles andframeworks such as undertaking suitable assessments andinterventions and recommending appropriate referrals. Proven experience in dealing with the legislation andindustrial instruments that govern human resources andindustrial relations within State Government agencies. The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL'siEngage program. Salary ASO6 - $97,022 - $102,626 per annum.
