At Westpac, we are at the forefront of innovation, committed to empowering our business customers with the financial solutions they need to thrive. We're seeking a visionary senior leader to join our dynamic team and drive the strategic agenda for our Term Lending products in Business Banking.

The focus will be on ensuring these offerings are desirable, reliable, and viable for Business customers and shareholders, while maintaining simplicity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities: Design and enhance Term Lending products and propositionsManage the full lifecycle of Term Lending products, including Bank Guarantees and Commercial BillsConduct market research to identify target markets, monitor performance, and adapt to market changesOversee product quality and governance, strengthening controls and mitigating risksAddress customer complaints and ensure full regulatory complianceLead simplification initiatives to improve Term Lending products to ensure better customer experience and outcomesCollaborate on the Business Lending Partnerships and Innovation roadmapImplement product enhancements in line with regulatory changes What do I need? 10+ years of extensive experience in product management leadership, with specific experience in Term Lending products.In-depth understanding of Business Banking across all segments (small business, SME, and Commercial), including customer needs, pain points, opportunities, trends, and the competitive landscape.A proven track record of driving balance sheet growth while consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations.Demonstrated experience driving innovation for Term Lending products.Exceptional relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.A results-driven approach, with strong strategic problem-solving abilities and exceptional experience in project design and delivery.A robust risk mindset, with the ability to proactively identify, understand, and mitigate both current and future risks.The ability to mentor and develop senior management to build a high-performing team and promote growth, whilst fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
