Position OverviewThe Head of Talent will lead the people management strategy for L.E.K.'s Australian offices, working closely with partners to deliver the strategic talent agenda and implement key talent initiatives across the Sydney and Melbourne offices. In this pivotal role, you will lead a high-performing HR function and have a genuine seat at the leadership table.

This role is integral to fostering a dynamic, high-performance culture and enhancing the overall employee experience, while managing HR-related operations and interfacing with Regional and Global talent.
Key ResponsibilitiesPeople Strategy and PartnershipCollaborate to define and execute a people strategy focused on high performance, our employee value proposition, and a positive experience.Provide thought leadership and advise executives on talent trends and best practices.Chair the Operations Committee, setting agendas, preparing materials, and ensuring follow-through on commitments.Employee ExperienceDevelop and champion initiatives to boost engagement, retention, and overall experience.Implement programs promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.Act as a culture ambassador to foster a high-performance, collaborative, and well-being-focused work environment.Use Global People Survey insights to refine local people strategies.Strategic Workforce PlanningOversee strategic workforce planning by analysing data to forecast needs and inform planning.Build talent pipelines for key roles and future needs.Implement strategies to boost productivity, profitability, and efficiency, while managing workforce risks.Enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion; monitor and report on related metrics.Oversee the Allocations Manager to balance resource allocation with workforce planning goals.Talent AcquisitionDevelop innovative strategies to attract top candidates at all levels.Oversee the recruitment process to ensure a positive candidate experience.Build relationships with universities and search agencies.Maintain a strong employer brand to attract and retain top talent.Use data and analytics to evaluate and improve recruiting strategies.Talent DevelopmentDesign and implement development programs to meet strategic and operational objectives.Identify high-potential employees and support their development.Foster a feedback, coaching, and mentorship culture.Oversee performance management to align with organisational goals and values.Talent OperationsManage people programs like mobility, international swaps, MBA sponsorship, and diversity initiatives.Implement a new global HRIS in the Australian office.Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.Measure and report key metrics such as recruitment yields and attrition rates.Develop and mentor the talent team, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.Manage the talent budget efficiently.Candidate Requirements:10+ years' relevant experience in a professional services environment, with experience in a consulting/advisory firm preferred.University degree or coursework in human resources management, psychology, or business-related discipline.Ability to think strategically, execute operationally and make data-driven decisions.Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a dynamic and constantly changing environment.A continuous improvement mindset, adapting thinking and approaches as needed.Exceptional interpersonal skills, approachable with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.High level of professionalism, enthusiasm, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.Demonstrated influencing and coaching skills.Understanding of employment legislation.Resilience and tenacity under pressure.Diversity and Inclusion at L.E.K.L.E.K.
