Job Description The Opportunity A position has become available to join QIC's Real Estate team on a permanent basis.
With a high quality and diverse portfolio of shopping centres dispersed across QLD, NSW, ACT and VIC, you will lead the National Operations function.
Be responsible for driving operational efficiency of the centres and ensuring a safe environment for guests of the centres.
You will lead a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and positive culture while aligning with the Shopping Centre Management Vision and Strategy Plan.

While this is a full-time position, we are open to discussing flexible working hours and are willing to consider candidates based in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, or Canberra.

This is an exciting opportunity with a broad spectrum of responsibilities and a lot of independence and strategic thinking.
However, the key accountabilities entail:

Operations Strategic planning: Develop and execute a National Operations plan, responding to trends in the market and driving innovation and best practice asset management. Process Improvement: Lead initiatives for cost reductions, support the delivery of sustainability projects, and drive continuous improvement. Financial performance: Develop annual Operating and Capital budgets, forecasts and reporting as well as ad hoc financial analytics. Leadership & People Management: Foster a culture of collaboration, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring team engagement and professional development. About You As a thought leader, you will demonstrate strong financial acumen to lead commercial success through the development of budgets, forecasts, analytics and reporting.
Therefore, the ability to understand, manage and analyse data is critical for the contribution to operational excellence.

A positive and inclusive culture is extremely important at QIC, so you will have the ability to adapt your communication style to foster an engaged team environment and drive both short-term and long-term success of the centres.
You will have experience in managing diverse teams to ensure accountability across the centres.

Finally, with past experience in asset management operations or facility management, you will have strong time management skills and understand the need to be agile with competing priorities.
