Job DescriptionWe're looking for a Head of Equipment & Asset Management to drive the procurement, maintenance, and performance of all equipment across our rapidly expanding network of restaurants. This position is pivotal in optimizing our assets, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting GYG's operational and sustainability goals both in Australia and the USA. You'll collaborate with teams across the board including culinary experts, operators, and franchisees.
Build & Lead a Strategy: Create a comprehensive asset management strategy that supports GYG's commercial and sustainability goals. Think big for Australia, but keep the USA in mind.Safety Champion: Lead our safety and compliance efforts, ensuring that equipment standards meet health, safety, and regulatory guidelines.Asset & Budget Management: Keep our inventory precise, develop asset lifecycle strategies, innovate with new equipment, and maintain our budget wisely.Procurement: Establish an equipment procurement strategy for AU and the USA, focusing on sustainability and value, while strengthening partnerships.Maintenance Management: Help create a national preventive maintenance program to keep downtime minimal and efficiency high.Data & Reporting: Prepare reports on performance, maintenance, and budgets. Use insights to recommend improvements.QualificationsYou're an engineering or operations management pro with a strong background in QSR or foodservice equipment. You get the importance of safety and compliance and know how to negotiate, manage vendors, and strategize across markets. You're proactive, detail-oriented, and innovative in optimizing resources while keeping a pulse on GYG's goals and values.
