We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Engineering to join our team. This outstanding role is part of the senior leadership team and reports to the CEO.
This role can be based in either Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide. The role Overall responsibility for engineering activities across the business. Create and implement best practice engineering strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance Ensure that engineering strategies and processes meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets Ensure that environmental, WHS, engineering and quality standards and procedures are adhered to Provide leadership to mentor and develop direct reports to deliver continuous improvement Set development objectives and monitor engineering projects across the business Prepare engineering budget Work closely with manufacturing lead and other key stakeholders to decide which engineering projects are the highest priority against the business targets and available resources About you You are a tertiary qualified engineer, with 10 years+ experience in all aspects of RF communications engineering Demonstratable experience leading an engineering function with a proven track record in strategic engineering leadership delivering effective engineering strategies, policies, processes and systems Your engineering experience will cover – RF design, Antenna design, embedded software architecture and RF solutions You are a proven project manager and confident dealing with suppliers This is a permanent, senior full time position that would suit an experienced Engineering Manager.
