In this role, you will report directly to Head of Fraud, Credit and Control Services (FCCS) and will effectively and adequately scope, manage and reduce WPB's (Wealth and Personal Banking) exposure towards undue risk, whilst maximizing loss mitigation and creating a sustianable culture in order to support such activities. You will be responsible for designing and embedding a robust control framework, leading and performing line 1 assurance activities and being trusted adviser to the business.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Ensuring sound processes are in place to minimize operational risk in WPB business and form adequate control in the 'First Line of Defence' Establishing appropriate operational controls based on risk assessments to ensure that the Group's Operational Risk Management Framework is met and fully adhered to Designing and implementing the controls assurance program to monitor, review and test effectiveness of the control environment across WPB. Leading and conducting high quality controls assurance activities, thematic reviews, identify issues and make recommendations to improve the overall control environment, including controls automation. Building a high performing team, with clear professional development opportunities and succession planning.
