About Us: At Beehive Honeysuckle, we're excited to relaunch with our new kitchen, bringing a new standard to the harborside cafe. Our brand-new kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, and we're looking for a visionary Head Chef to lead our kitchen team, craft extraordinary dishes, and create unforgettable dining experiences.
Position Overview: We are seeking an innovative and passionate Head Chef who is ready to take the helm of our new kitchen. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for menu development, managing kitchen operations, and mentoring a talented team of culinary professionals. If you have a flair for creativity, a commitment to quality, and a drive for excellence, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:

Menu Development: Create and continually refine a diverse and seasonal menu that highlights local ingredients and culinary trends.
Kitchen Management: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, quality control, and inventory management.
Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and train kitchen staff to ensure high standards of performance, hygiene, and efficiency.
Quality Control: Ensure every dish meets the highest standards of presentation, taste, and consistency.
Cost Management: Develop and manage budgets, control food costs, and optimize kitchen resources.
Safety & Hygiene: Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a cafe.
Culinary skills with a creative approach to food and presentation.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Expertise in menu planning, food costing, and inventory control.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
