Your new role
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key management position within the organisation and requires an experienced financial professional with the vision and drive to create and develop innovative and secure financial services for the Institute.
As the CFO, you will be reporting into the Chief Executive Officer and working closely with the Executive team.
Alongside managing the finance team, this role provides a broad range of financial services to the organisation, providing financial reports to a number of committees and heads of departments whilst ensuring appropriate internal systems and policies are adhered to along with relevant external accounting and other regulatory requirements.
The Finance department is a small team with all members contributing equally to achieve departmental and strategic objectives.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic forward-thinking financial professional with the knowledge and experience to provide expert, timely and pro-active operational and strategic advice on all financial management issues to the Board, the CEO, and members of the Executive Team.
The position is responsible for the development of budgets, the preparation of Annual Accounts, and the ongoing provision of services to ensure the effective management and monitoring of the organisation's financial administration, reporting, and compliance requirements.
What you'll get in return
This role offers you an attractive annual salary of $160,000 plus Super, full-time hours, and an ongoing permanent placement.
