We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified Maintenance Fitter for our Camellia site. This role will be responsible for working on scheduled and preventative maintenance within the site, as well as attending to breakdown responses to support business operations.
Reporting to the site Maintenance Manager, your responsibilities will include: Carrying out daily servicing, repairs, and maintenance of plant and equipment as scheduled by the Maintenance PlannerBeing actively involved in plant improvements and projectsMaintaining a proactive safety attitude and following safety protocols (e.g., LOTO, permits)Working with and assisting other team members as required (e.g., two people, fabrication (hot work) or heavy-duty mechanical skills)Responding promptly to breakdown calls, evaluating causes, and implementing solutions in coordination with production staffCarrying out minor electrical tasks (i.e., disconnects - reconnects, resets) in line with relevant electrical qualifications, if applicableTo be successful in this role, you will be required to possess: Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Mechanical Fitter & Turner)Restricted Electrical licence (Desirable)Experience in FMCG or Food manufacturingRelevant licences and tickets (e.g., Confined space, Forklift, Working at heights, Elevated work platform) (Desirable)Strong communication skills with an all-inclusive approach to dealing with peers and operations personnel at all levels in the businessWhat's in it for you?
