About YOUR new job:
This role will provide you access to high-profile people from both within and external to the accounting functions. The purpose of this position is to provide high-quality corporate reporting and analysis from a group perspective.
Responsibilities include: Use your commercial acumen to provide and present your analysis and insights on performance to the executive team.Head office reporting, annual reporting, managing month-end financial and management reports, performance reporting, assisting with the profit announcement, investor relations.Produce the monthly management accounts for review at the corporate level (P&L, Balance Sheet & Cashflow).Drive the statutory reporting requirements (for consolidation purposes) from each of the divisional reporting entities.Driving acquisition accounting and equity accounting through the consolidation process.Preparation of the tax and deferred tax calculations for the group in consultation with the tax team.Manage and develop stakeholder relationships with external parties.Lead project initiatives to improve systems and processes across the business.About YOU! Will hold a professional accounting qualification (CPA or CA).Experience working in a leading chartered firm and have performed a similar Group Finance role working for another fast-paced large company (listed or multinational) OR looking to make the first move out of chartered at the Senior Manager level.You will be an energetic and natural communicator with the ability to liaise effectively with business leaders and with those who have a non-financial background.Engage with others collaboratively, and work to a high standard with accuracy and deliver on time.Enjoy working as part of a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment dealing with multiple stakeholders.The Benefits!
