Join us as a Group Manager, a critical member of our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) reporting to the Executive Group Manager for People, Culture, and Organisational Performance.Guided by our Values, your responsibilities will include:Strategic Leadership: Inspire and lead a team of approximately 30 employees across People Solutions (ER/IR), HRIS, People Performance (Business Partners), and People Development (OL&D, Recruitment & Selection), driving a cohesive approach to people and culture.Vision and Strategy: Influence the organisation's future success by creating and implementing short-term and long-term strategies aligned with our People Strategy, contributing to the overall goals and vision of the organisation.Data-Driven Decision Making: Provide robust data, insights, and analysis to support critical business decisions, ensuring the executive team has reliable information at their fingertips.Project and Committee Leadership: Participate in steering committees and serve as a project sponsor on strategic initiatives, ensuring a high level of collaboration across departments.Executive Leadership Opportunity: Step into the Executive Group Manager role as needed, guiding the department through transitional periods.Expert Advisory Role: Offer expert advice and reporting services to the Mayor, CEO, Councillors, and General Managers, navigating the demands of a complex legislative landscape and sensitive political environment.First and foremost, you'll need to live and breathe our Values, as they are fundamental to the way we go about our work and the relationships we build.You'll bring to the role:You have a proven track record of experience in a senior leadership position, with a strong foundation in people and culture roles.
