The business is going through an impressive transformation, led by a dynamic and influential CFO and inspiring CEO. We are looking for a high achiever who wants to be part of this exciting new phase of the business by providing support to the executive leadership team.Reporting to the Head of Finance and Commercial, the Group Financial Controller will lead a team of finance professionals to deliver accurate financial and lender reporting and ensure that robust controls are in place whilst enabling a platform for business insight and value add is delivered. The role will assist in leading finance towards the vision of being a "true business partner" by ensuring the base accounting is accurate and reliable. In doing so, the incumbent will form strong relationships with key business stakeholders both locally and globally.The successful applicant will have access to a fabulous mentor with a genuine chance to grow your skills and career.Key Accountabilities:Financial Reporting and ControlOversee the preparation and delivery of group consolidated financial statementsManage statutory reporting requirements across all group entitiesMaintain the group's accounting policies and proceduresEnsure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirementsLead external audit processes and relationshipsProcess and SystemsMaintain and enhance internal control frameworksOversee month-end and year-end close processesDrive continuous improvement in financial processes and system integrationManage financial systems and reporting toolsEnsure data integrity and securityTeam LeadershipLead and develop the financial accounting, AR and AP teamsSet clear objectives and performance expectationsProvide technical guidance and mentoringManage team workload and resource allocationFoster a culture of excellence and continuous improvementStrategic SupportProvide financial insights to support strategic decision-makingPartner with business units on financial mattersSupport M&A activities with financial due diligenceIdentify and implement process improvementsContribute to finance transformation initiativesRequirements:CA/CPA qualificationBachelor's degree in Accounting/FinanceBig4 Trained up to Senior Manager followed by Corporate experience10+ years relevant experienceDemonstrated team leadership experienceAdvanced technical accounting knowledgeThis role is five days per week in their new Rhodes headquarters.
