This business has an outstanding team with significant and proven experience in Construction, Development, Design, and Commercials across the energy sector.We are looking for a Grid Connection Manager to join the business and support both the project development team and delivery team throughout their project lifecycles, with a focus on grid connection, technical problem solving, and design-related topics.This role is to be based in Sydney, with brand new offices in the CBD.About the role:Support the project team in evaluating sites technically, considering size, infrastructure, grid capability, and constraints.Perform engineering assessments to optimize connections, including voltages and substation design.Review grid studies and manage submissions with NSPs through to Offer to Connect.Assist with commissioning as projects complete construction.Prepare concept designs for planning and grid connection studies.Provide technical support to the commercial team on costs and commercial impact.Aid the project team with feasibility studies, due diligence, financial models, and high-level designs.Create conceptual drawings and specifications, including Single Line Diagrams for grid connections.Develop and track budgets, timelines, and resources.Source and review information from specialist planning consultants.Offer technical support to the planning team.Assist procurement processes, including documentation for OEM and contractor selection.Coordinate with OEMs, Contractors, NSPs, and AEMO.What we are looking for?Experience and background in the Energy and Power sectorWorking knowledge of AEMO GPS Standards and NE rules.Strong background in Energy storage applicationsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsEngineering background and experience with PSSE/PSCAD, AutoCAD, PVSYST is recommendedWhat is the opportunity for you?Career growth, and path to Director of Grid Connections.Lean and high-performing cultureThe opportunity to join a rapidly growing businessGenerous parental leaveIf the above fits your background and you would be interested in having a coffee or a conversation then please apply and we can schedule a confidential chat.#J-18808-Ljbffr
