You will have a unique skillset and be a senior member of the Greenmount Capital (GMC) Investment team.Alongside GreenMount Advisory (GMA) clients and other Private Capital investors, you will be focused on leading, originating, evaluating, and executing growth equity opportunities in later stage venture and private equity.In your role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of growth equity investments across the deal life cycle, combining your skill set of commercial and financial acumen, strategic thinking, and an entrepreneurial mindset.You will be a team player working within GMC and alongside GMA deal origination teams, upholding GreenMount's core set of values.This role is located in either Sydney or Auckland.Investment Criteria ThemesGrowth VentureCircular EconomyData & DigitisationAutomation and AIEnvironment & SustainabilityPrivate EquityIndustry agnostic excluding the following sectors: gambling, prisons, tobacco, sex industry, weapons, and propertyKey ResponsibilitiesOrigination and Initial EvaluationIdentify and source investment opportunities through various channelsLead a team on evaluating potential investments, including market and commercial analysis, financial modelling, and risk assessmentAssess management teams, business models, the market, and the competitive landscapeInvestment ExecutionLead a team on due diligence, negotiation, and structuring of investment opportunitiesCollaborate effectively with team members (prioritizing tasks and separating responsibilities) and external stakeholdersWork closely with legal and financial teams to ensure smooth transaction execution and compliance with regulatory requirementsLead the preparation of investment papers, presentations, and marketing documents for internal stakeholders and investment committeesPersonal ManagementManage time effectively to meet individual and team objectives, as well as required deadlinesWhere appropriate, delegate tasks to other staff or areas for better utilization of time and resourcesExercise punctuality in general, including meetings and training sessionsManage self-balance between work and life commitmentsValuesUphold a culture-first attitude adhering to the values of GreenMount which must be at the forefront of everything you do.
