Our client is a proudly independent marketing communications company offering 'end to end' solutions of Bespoke Retail Marketing, Design, Print, POS production, and Web Based Management services to an impressive portfolio of well-recognised brand names within the FMCG, Pharma, Liquor, and Hardware industries.
About the Role
Due to continued growth and new client acquisitions, they are seeking a Graphic Designer and Artwork Coordinator to join the team.
You will effectively deliver and manage the delivery of conceptual and print-ready artwork of key visuals ready for production and digital formats for print and display products.
Duties
Create Print Ready Artwork.
Carry out pre-flight of files, ready for printing internally and externally.
Co-ordinate the delivery of artwork between design agencies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Proactively contribute innovative ideas to drive additional savings and productivity.
Provide technical guidance and feedback on artwork for the best outcome within specification.
Attend client meetings and relay client's needs to Account Manager.
Responsible in conjunction with Account Manager for ensuring all client expectations are delivered or responded to.
Maintain an excellent working relationship with internal client groups to ensure smooth running of the product delivery.
Troubleshoot client issues as they arise to achieve a win/win outcome.
Generate artwork estimates using PRISM software and manage online Artwork WIPS.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a print environment is essential or in a design/creative agency environment.
Work autonomously and multitask numerous briefs.
Success in a previous role as a finished artist.
Provide evidence of process improvement and cost analysis expertise.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Advanced skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
