DescriptionAbout OzHarvest:OzHarvest is a leading food rescue organisation on a mission to 'Nourish our Country' by stopping good food from going to waste and delivering it to charities that help feed people in need. Through our education programs and our advocacy work, we hope to inspire others to change their behaviour and help reach the national target of halving food waste by 2030.About the role:As Grants Coordinator, you'll be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grants, building relationships with funders, and ensuring we meet all reporting and acquittal requirements. You'll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to secure funding and help drive OzHarvest's mission forward.Location:Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane preferred. Open to other locations.Key Responsibilities:Research & Engage: Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, from government bodies to corporate and private organizations. Build and maintain strong relationships with funders.Write & Submit: Craft clear, compelling grant applications and reports that align with OzHarvest's mission and goals.Coordinate & Administer: Manage grant submissions and track deliverables using Salesforce, ensuring deadlines and requirements are met.Collaborate & Support: Work closely with internal teams to gather content for funding applications and provide support on reporting and acquittals.What We're Looking For:Experience: You have experience in grants administration or management, preferably in the non-profit or community sector. You understand the national grants landscape and have a strong track record of relationship-building.Skills: You're a clear, persuasive writer with excellent communication skills. You're tech-savvy and comfortable using tools like Salesforce.Attributes: Energetic, proactive, and highly organized.
