Then this is the position for you! Council is seeking an experienced Grants and Project Officer to provide direction and leadership in identifying and securing grant funding, as well as grant administration.
The Perks Flexible working arrangementsPermanent part-time role (4 days a week)Salary packaging negotiable on your experienceThe Role This dynamic role is an opportunity to influence your local community and help Council source crucial Government funding.
You will support the end-to-end grant process including project support as well as working closely with the Council CEO and Executive team.
As our Grants and Project Officer, your key accountabilities on a day-to-day basis are to: Identify and source funding opportunities relevant to identified strategies and plans that support the growth and development of the region.Advise and prepare grant applications for the organisation.Complete grant acquittals within required timeframes.Develop a grant registration system to monitor and manage externally funded grant status across the organisation.Provide advice and guidance to community groups on potential funding opportunities and grant application processes.About you We're looking for someone with excellent project management skills, a collaborative mindset, and a can-do attitude.
Ideally, you'll have a proven track record in securing and administering grant funding, and have tertiary qualifications or extensive experience.
