Join our team as a Graduate/Undergraduate Accountant at PKF Brisbane (Business Services) We are looking for full-time/part-time accountants to join our Business Servicesteam in our Brisbane CBD office, to commence employment as soon as possible.About PKFPKF Brisbane is located in the Brisbane CBD, and is a member firm of PKF International with offices in over 440 cities and 150 countries worldwide.
We are a leading provider of business services, audit, superannuation,tax and specialistservices to clients locally and internationally.Our Business Services team is an integrated group of specialists that deliver services specifically developed and tailored to each business, providing clients with sound financial strategies, reporting and governance.
We can act as an outsourced role on the client's management team, helping clients to develop better relationships with key stakeholders such as their banks and financiers.About the roleWe are looking for full-time/part-time accountants to join our Business Services team in our Brisbane CBD office, to commence employment as soon as possible.
We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who are eager to get a head start in their accounting career.
Previous accounting firm experience is not necessary.These roles will suit someone who works well in a team environment.
We provide a professional work environment, a great social program and support for your ongoing professional development.Regular on-the-job training is provided along with formal training conducted by both our in-house experts and external facilitators.
This includes training and support provided for further technical studies such as the CA program.Key responsibilitiesDuties will include:Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSFsAssisting with preparation of FBT returnsAssisting with preparation of BASs and IASsLiaising with the ATODraft correspondence to clientsResearching and assisting with preparation of tax advice and planningOther ad hoc accounting and administration tasks as and when requiredWhat you need to applyThe ideal candidate will:Have completed or be in the process of completing an accounting degree (BCom or BBus)Be available to work a minimum of 22.5 hours per week, with some flexibility with regards to which days are workedBe expected to complete the CA program in due courseTo be considered, please submit a resume and cover letter.#J-18808-Ljbffr
