The role We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and driven Graduate Recruitment and Development Consultant to join our dynamic Talent Team.
Working as part of a national team, you will be responsible for leading and managing recruitment campaigns and programs contributing to the success of Clayton Utz's Legal Graduate Program within our Sydney office.
This role will see you driving our attraction, selection and development programs as part of the wider P&D team.
Key responsibilities: Oversee the clerk and graduate programs, including leading the rotations across different practice groups, evaluation processes and supporting the professional growth and development of graduates.
Develop, lead and execute selection and attraction strategies for our graduate & clerkship program.
Cultivate strong relationships and engagement opportunities with law schools, faculty, and student organizations, including speaking and representing the firm at events.
Collaborate closely with Partners, leading discussions to align graduate recruitment and development initiatives with business objectives - act as the main point of contact for key stakeholders.
Contribute to national projects and drive early careers outreach initiatives.

To be successful in this role; you will have/be: Experience as a HR professional, with exposure to early career programs or graduate recruitment desirable.
Understanding of program and rotation management.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence.
Proven ability to build and nurture meaningful business relationships.
Confidence in presenting with effective public speaking skills.
A collaborative team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
Detail-oriented and organised, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
