About the Role As Graduate Contract Administrator/Project Manager you will be responsible for the full life-cycle from subcontractor procurement, preparing scopes of works, letting contracts and managing variation and progress claims and logistics. These projects are in the early stages, so a key part of your role will be running an excellent procurement strategy and use your firm negotiating skills with subcontractors and vendors.
You will also be working closely with our affable PM, as well as Site Foreman / Managers and understanding the projects will be critical in successfully deliver on time and within budget. Also familiar with Cheops preferred.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: - Assist in the preparation and negotiation of contracts
- Assist the Project Manager in projects to ensure all are completed on time and within budgets
- Issue purchase orders
- Processing invoices into cheops
- Progress claims management
- Procurement of sub-contractors
- Progress sub-contractor payment claims & administer variations
- Dealing with authorities & councils
- Budgeting and Forecast
Skills and Experience: We are looking for a Graduate Contract Administrator/Project Manager in the construction sector, ideally in apartment builds and looking to take the next step in their career.
The successful candidate will be a skilled professional, with a can do attitude and a desire to grow in a fast moving company.
Qualifications in: Building, Construction or equivalent.
