Key responsibility areas Provide quality administrative services through the provision of external and internal correspondence, reports and statutory advertisements.Prepare Council meeting agendas and complete post-meeting tasks.Provide employee training in the use of governance software and processes.Support the Executive Assistant and Governance Officer in their duties, including civic events and authorisations and delegations.Assist in maintaining public registers and internal websites, road and feature naming processes and livestreaming of meetings.Participate in continuous improvement activities with the team in order to streamline processes and systems.Support the Coordinator Governance to research and implement governance policies and procedures, in line with legislative requirements.Participate as a member of the Governance Team in team projects, process mapping and review, and proactively responding to customer requests.Perform, as directed, other duties that are within the limits of the incumbents' skill, competence and trainingDesired Skills and ExperienceSelection criteria Proven ability to provide a high level of personal, administrative and executive assistance.Proven ability to work co-operatively and positively as a member of a team.Proven ability to manage highly confidential information.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Sound knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office suite, specifically in the creation of documents in Excel and Word.Attach aresume and cover letter briefly addressing the key selection criteria.Submit your applicationby following the process on this page.If you'd like to know more contact Lauren Homden, Coordinator Governance at or call .
