In this role, you will lead a dedicated team, responsible for the coordination of agendas and minutes, statutory compliance responsibilities, civic functions, and other key City documentation including policy, local laws, etc.
We are looking for a person who:
Can lead and effectively manage a small teamIs familiar with interpreting legislationHas sound research and analytical skills enabling interpretation of informationCan produce well-constructed and informative reports, pitched to a level appropriate for a busy local governmentHas strong computer literacy, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite of products, intranet and web-based softwareHas well-developed time management and organisational skillsPrevious experience in Local Government is essential for this role, preferably in a governance or senior administration role.
