About Us: The Grange is a division of Dapto Leagues Club, which is one of the most successful golf courses and event venues in the Illawarra. The Grange is a 'Troon' managed 18 Hole Golf Course located in Kembla Grange, Wollongong NSW. Commencing operation in 1964, The Grange has become renowned for its challenging yet accessible course, stunning natural surroundings, and world-class event/hospitality services.
Position Overview: The Grange Golf Club is looking for a Golf Operations Supervisor. The role will be to deliver exceptional customer service with the golf shop and associated food and beverage services that The Grange offers. This is a full-time salaried position (38-hour week) plus there will also be coaching opportunities to supplement income outside rostered hours (for any applicant who is suitably PGA qualified.)
We're excited to be offering this challenging opportunity to someone who is committed to a high level of customer service to members and visitors. The successful candidate will report directly to the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities of the role include, (but are not limited to): Use of POS systems Retail and Merchandising Delivery of daily golf shop operations including golf cart management. Retail sales, equipment hire, beverage sales (including alcohol) Basic food handling and snack sales General cleaning and presentation of shop/club Teaching opportunities: individual, group coaching and Junior program development To be successful in this role you will need to be: A current PGA Member (Preferred and to be able to provide tuition) Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to work as part of a team Punctual and reliable Committed to ongoing development Able to work flexible hours including weekends Competent computer skills preferably with MiClub experience RSA and RCG Qualified (or willing to acquire) The applicable remuneration for this position will be per the Dapto Leagues Club Enterprise Agreement and will be based on experience and qualifications. Coaching remuneration will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
