Description: The GM Field Services & Maintenance is a key leadership role within our Transmission line of business and is responsible for the technical services, maintenance delivery and landholders and community engagement for the Transmission line of business.
With a Hybrid split (Office/WFH), this role is based in Southbank and is part of the Transmission team.
This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to: Delivery of all maintenance works, both preventative and correctiveDrive efficiency in operational performance and on-time resolution of issues in the field delivery across electricity transmissionDevelop and maintain effective strategic partnershipsOversight for the technical services team, ensuring they are a profitable and sustainably viable businessOversee the strategic direction and lead the team of landholder and community engagementOversee the initiatives to build organisational literacy in relation to community engagement to support integrated and meaningful decision making and strategies.Accountable for the effectiveness of community engagement and implement changes as required including an ongoing review of issues and lessons learned.Define and execute strategies across the department to achieve a safe, cost-efficient, productive and engaged workforceRepresentation of AusNet / Victoria Transmission at industry forums and working groups.You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of: Tertiary qualification in Business AdministrationExtensive experience in senior leadership role demonstrating behaviour into high performing multi-discipline teams within a large complex utilities organisationProgram delivery experience within Transmission in the utilities industryMaintenance & Operational experience in a large utility network teamExperience within a strategy role within a construction teamAustralian Advanced Diploma in OHS/WHS (or equivalent)Demonstrated experience in implementing operational and productivity improvements in a complex environmentAdvanced communication and negotiation skills that enable the effective management of key stakeholdersWe believe in more than just competitive pay.
