About the Opportunity Financial and commercial support for strategic decisions Commercial support across all of the brand's countries and disciplines (operations, sales, marketing, CS, supply and support functions) in order to identify opportunities to drive both growth and margin improvements in order to inform our strategy and business model. Establish criteria for benchmarking and reporting on the brand's country performance at a global level in order to inform future strategic direction at both a nation and global level as we continue to evolve our business model and the globalise, standardise, synchronise framework. Work closely with senior operational and finance leaders on specific projects to drive incremental value to the business, including supplier margins, productive operations, customer pricing, productisation of our platform and programs and so on. Support in setting key KPIs, targets and OKRs at a global, discipline and nation level. Developing business cases for new opportunities, collaborating with all relevant stakeholders to build financial models and test the strategy, including market research / benchmarking and ROI analysis. Benchmark and review competitor results and strategy to business performance to provide useful insights to senior management. Detailed analysis of historical and budget / forecast financial information including assessment of assumptions and achievability of expected results and the strategic initiatives which underpin the numbers. Regular review of the brand's country and discipline results, providing commercial analysis and support to the Global GM and CCO – including tracking KPIs, targets and OKRs on monthly / quarterly / annual basis. Work closely with internal BI and commercial leads to ensure alignment in global, nation and discipline reporting, such as KPI definitions, data sources and ongoing data integrity
All about You At least 3+ years' relevant experience post qualification. Financial management experience -Interpret financial management reports / Financial modelling experience / Strong accounting knowledge. Corporate development experience - Transaction services, investment, strategy experience would be highly regarded. Travel industry knowledge - Knowledge of travel industry and Flight Centre business would be beneficial Ability to drill down and understand underlying facts. Ensure accuracy of financial reporting Willingness to apply a hands-on approach Upholds Company Philosophies and Culture Takes ownership for successes and failures. Demonstrates a belief in FCTG philosophies and values. Excellent communicator and foster open communication Ability to communicate to stakeholders at different levels within the organisation Builds trust and shows support and respect. Ability to understand and to report on financial information. Adapt financial information to meet users' needs. Ability to work with large amounts of data in varying forms. Breaks information into component parts, patterns, and relationships. Probes for further information or greater understanding of a problem.
