In this role, you will be at the forefront of risk management, providing invaluable insights to the business to enhance its operational objectives. You will lead the development of risk assessments and due diligence requirements for change initiatives, ensuring a robust risk capability and culture within Home Lending.
What you'll do: Provide strategic risk advice and insights to drive operational excellence, including leading the development of risk assessments and due diligence requirements for change initiatives and projects. Facilitate comprehensive risk assessments on an annual, quarterly, and dynamic basis to ensure proactive risk management. Collaborate directly with business units to identify, manage, and remediate incidents and breaches, ensuring a high-quality customer experience. Identify and address control weaknesses within the business, strengthening the control environment to mitigate risks effectively. Design and implement proactive solutions to enhance risk maturity and culture continuously. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, proactively engaging with the business to address challenges and gaps, and contribute to insightful risk reporting. What you'll bring: Minimum of 3 years' experience in Risk related domain Experience and expertise in Risk Management Practices honed through practical application in diverse business environments including navigating process changes, project delivery , Risk Profiling, Control Frameworks etc Demonstrated experience in Home Lending or Financial Services Ability to identify business insight, issues, trends and determine cause-effect relationships to provide potential solutions and courses of action based on the information base. Understand and manage the impact of change on myself and others and develop strategies to support agility and responsiveness to move forward. Convey and explain information, coherently and confidently both verbally and in writing. Always identify and use appropriate behavioural styles and interpersonal skills to develop relationships and influence others. Ability to contribute to a proactive and engaging team environment.
