We have an exciting new opening for an experienced Global Head of Talent Acquisition.
This role will  lead the management and development of an established team along with all recruitment processes and activities, to support SLR with their organisational goals and achieve its purpose, to Make Sustainability Happen.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced global leader to take full responsibility of managing international recruitment and global sourcing, team leadership as well as policy, process and systems optimisation.
There is an existing team of highly skilled and experienced talent acquisition professionals, with extensive knowledge of the business, working in Africa, APAC, Canada, Europe, USA and more recently in South America.
Closing date for applications is 20th October 2024 The role  You will develop and implement a global talent acquisition strategy to support organisational goals, aligning the existing regional teams to enable a unified approach, including global sourcing and recruiting campaigns.
Key responsibilities will involve: •    Partner with the Global Talent Director to provide leadership with thoughtful, meaningful, and creative metrics to achieve our strategy, and interpretation and application of the results.
•    Collaborate with Regional Managing Directors and hiring managers to identify priority countries and service lines and source talent in advance of open positions, proactively building SLR's talent pipeline and network of potential candidates.
•    Ensure the Global TA team provide expert recruitment and talent acquisition support, enhancing market presence and knowledge of SLR as a preferred employer.
•    Defining the systems required to optimise Talent Acquisition processes and work with the Global Systems and Global People team to implement those systems.
•    Drive improvements to global recruitment policies and processes to ensure streamlined, effective, high-quality services are delivered and wider workforce planning principles are considered.
We'll look to you to lead the global TA team working by example, setting standards and providing coaching, with guidance and feedback to encourage progression and opportunities for development.

About you  With substantial and progressive recruitment experience, you will have held positions with responsibility for global talent acquisition strategy and leading teams internationally, coupled with a related degree or professional qualification.
You will enjoy working in a fast-paced and varied environment, valuing the benefits and rewards of working collaboratively, with the confidence and ability to work self-sufficiently.
You will thrive on making a difference and leading the organic growth of our global business.
•    Strong commercial acumen and experience in managing global recruitment budgets •    Experience using both internet recruitment sources and Applicant Tracking Systems •    Demonstrated ability to perform and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast paced, high-volume environment •    Cross-cultural sensitivity, knowledge of and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
Supported by the team, you'll have full autonomy to plan your own work, so will need excellent organisational skills for workload and diary management.
You'll bring a positive 'can-do' attitude and a self-motivated approach to deliver.
