Our Sydney FICC Sales team is looking to add a 2 nd or 3 rd year Analyst with Interest Rates Sales experience to the desk. This will focus on flow and structured product coverage of financial institutions, hedge funds, and real money clients. The role requires a high degree of autonomy and entrepreneurship in delivering solutions to your clients, prospecting for new relationships, and building an internal network.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Work with the Rates Trading and Investment Research team, cross-divisionally and across regions, to generate and deliver trade ideas and solutions to clients Demonstrate the desire and ability to build long-term relationships both internally and externally Interact collaboratively with middle/back office to ensure seamless execution and minimize operational risk Comply with all applicable internal rules and external regulations BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 1-3 years' of relevant Developed Market Interest Rates experience (preferably in an Interest rates Sales capacity, but may also consider Trading, Structuring, or Investment Banking background) Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic record Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail Robust decision making ability Collaborative mindset with great teamwork skills Willingness to complete a host of administrative tasks to do with day-to-day record keeping, booking and problem solving for the team Ability to grasp complex concepts/structures quickly PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Interest Rates Sales experience
